[Peugeot-L] Replacing the Centre Support Bearing ( Torque Tube )

Any Pearls of wisdom on removing and replacing the centre support bearing located inside the Torque tube of a 1987 505 V-6 5 speed? I have had the diff down and replaced CV boots, etc, and supported the TT in the process but never removed the TT from the rear of the gearbox. Any home made tools come to mind that worked to get the old bearing out and the new bearing seated. My bearing has been making noise for some time now, but it has become louder now and lubrication grease is not working to keep the noise level down. It has been isolated to the drive shaft area, not the Diff or the Gearbox. So, any thoughts on this topic?

Peter
