Hai Sasi,
in the past months i get the same problem, and when i tell this problem to my friends(He is mechanic) he told me to look the mechanisem of this lock and spray with WD40 the lock mechanisem, i do that and it's solve.

I'd pop the door panels off to see if the actuating rods are in place and
moving properly. If they are - I'd pull the lock assembly out of the door
and give it a thorough cleaning - then lube with a dry lubricant like
graphite. (Always checking for anything broken as while you're at it...)
Hopefully that would free up any mechanism that might be sticking.

The rear doors of my '94 405 won't open from the inside... And yes, before
anyone tells me so, I have already checked and the child locks are not
engaged!! This has been happening since I got the car but have never felt
the need for the rear doors to be opened from the inside as the ferquency of
someone sitting in the back seat is probably as less as 1 in 50!! Even if
anyone sits, so far I have been the well behaved chauffeur and opened the
doors from the outside...
What could be the reason? I haven't taken it to any mechanic yet...
