I concur with Gene, the rattle didn't go away when I replaced my T chain and tensioner (NLA). I've read that some say it is the oil pump chain which is the rattler, age stretches it and a rattling it will go with no tensioner. Juergen told me (IIRC) that the Matra guys who were using these engines use to fabricate a spacer for the oil pump to tighten the chain up because they couldn't stand the rattle

As far as the WP goes I found the hardest part was getting the fan clutch back on the shaft without wrecking the impeller or the WP seals.
