I've had the same prices in estimates. Just try to avoid clear coat
paint and you won't have such a hard time with sun checking in the
future. But most shops won't do one step paint. Clear coat hides
mistakes, so shops insist on it. I am going to paint mine myself
with a one step silver metallic, I just have to get the 404 running
so I have a place to paint my 505.
