Right. The PBR Deluxes will stop about as well cold as warm. The PBR
Ultimates on my car stop okay when cold, and better when warm. I've
heard general complaints from a bunch of people about the Metal
Masters performance when cold, sometimes accompanied by unpleasant
amounts of squeaking until they warm up.

Yup. They just don't have a whole lot of swept area. Smallish rotors
+ smallish pads compared to the 700s. I've got the 11.25" rotors on
my 760. Much nicer in terms of fade. Not so great with the pedal
feel tho. It's not that the 240 setup is bad, it's just smaller than
the later 700/900 series setup. Heck, the 240s got bigger rotors +
calipers than many cars out there, probably even the Peugeots.

The forums have a better signal to noise ratio. The old list was, IMO, a joke.
