I am reborn as P404C, ex-coupe404....I changed email addresses and
had to re-register.
Anyway, to the point:
I'd consider a 1007 in their current range, but nothing else (unless
they're still selling off 406 Coupés that is).
The sad fact is that nearly none of their current range appeals to me
much. Possibly the 206 RC, but I understand that its driving
position is wretched.
In fact, I am going to France in September for three weeks and I
didn't even bother checking about Peugeot-SODEXA, because Renault's
Buy-Back program has the perfect car for us: a Scénic (Diesel) 1.5
dCi, which we will have for our time there and journey down the boot
of Italy and back to our French jaunt in.
We may get the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Diesel here in a year; the gas
version is on sale beginning in the fall. That might interest me too
(though it's more expensive than the Renault).
I hope for better stuff soon from Peugeot soon. Will we ever see any
of it here? 14 years and counting....
