'74 and later 504s had the reflector fully inside the lower inside red
section. The early lenses had the reflector splitting the two inside
sections. USModels had red instead of amber for the turn signal.section.
The Argentinian lenses have amber turn signal sections, so they look like
the later lenses, but their reflector is between the inner sections, and
they only fit the early taillight bodies. They are much thinner material
than original, but they are cheap and they look better than beat up originals.
You can use the early taillight bodies in the later sedans without
modification other than adapting the wiring connectors, which are of
different shapes.
I have a few sets of the early taillight bodies which will adapt the new
lenses to '74 on sedans.
