Correction -- I had the position of the reflector backwards on the 504
taillenses! Here is the correct story:
The pre-'74 504 sedan lights have the reflector entirely within the lower
red taillight section, just under the reverse light. The later lenses have
the reflector at the intersection of the red, amber, and clear sections,
taking a piece out of each. The early lights, in US Models, did not have
amber turn signals -- they were red just like the taillight.
