I have fixed it! It was indeed the glow plugs. Every last one of them
were bad! I replaced them all and vroom! She started right away. Then
I
noticed a new problem. When I was getting tools from the trunk I
noticed my carpet was damp. It was my bio-diesel! I havent been able
to
locate the leak yet. I removed the back seat (which was sooooo easy)
to
view the back of the tank. Of course my flash light died 2 seconds
after turning it on. Anyways I can see no visible leaks yet. I'm very
glad its biodiesel leaking rather than petro diesel cause that would
stink. Has anyone had a leaky tank in a 505? I have also noticed my
fuel lines in the engine compartment have started decaying so I plan
to
replace all rubber lines with viton hose to handle the bio-diesel.
Does
anyone have a diagrahm of the lines? I'd like to buy the viton all at
once and replace them in a day. A list of the length and diameters
would be great. Well I must say the car is lucky I love it. I think
most people would scrap a car that had as many problems as often as
mine. My new list of repairs: Valve adjustment, finding the awfull
intermitant clicking in the engine compartment, sunroof, hood,
grille,
peeling paint, new trunk panels and carpet, new seat upholstery, new
tank? all new fuel lines, man this list is long! I could keep going
but
I wont. Thanks for all the help!
