Hello All,
Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for an alternator last
week. Things went great. Unfortunately though, I find myself in a new
pickle. My car (76 504D Wagon with 82 XD2S) died last night during the
final third of a 1000 mile plus trip. I ended up having it towed from
Roanoake, VA, where it was on the side of I-81, to Richmond, VA where
my cousin lives. I was hoping that someone knew of a good mechanic here
well versed in the idiosyncratic monster that is 'diesel Peugeot.' I
wont go in to the gory details of my problem, but I may be royally
screwed. I am fairly hands on with the car, but am pretty weak in the
diagnosis department.
Any help would be appreciated.
