I had heard the same thing about synthethics playing havoc with the syncro's. I
vaguelly remember a horror story where the synchroes were slowed just a tad in a
turbo- but a tad a litttle too much, for racing purposes, after synthethics. Just what I
heard, I have no firsthand. For me, it's a lot like paint labels- I follow them to the
tee, and I tend to avoid surprises. I mean, the freakin' intervals are like 30k
according to the schedule. And it's like 2 qts. You want to be a do-gooder? Do it
every 10k or every third oil change. It's worked for me;.
