Another thought, that's a problem with all European
cars. The size of their connectors are small and used
to be pushed on only. The newer cars are getting
better with interlocking connectors; but for years
the Japanese used connectors with heavier duty metal
for the contacts, locking connectors, and lithium
grease on all the contacts to prevent corrosion. It's
amazing what a difference the basics make, and that's
one reason the Japanese have made such reliable cars.
