I have a black 89 405s that has been sitting in my garage for about a
year now that needs a new home. The only thing it needs is a flex
plate
to be back on the road agin. I put new valve steam seals in the car
before i started taking the tranny out to do the flex plate job. The
car is ready for a flex plate with the tranny out and the engine is
still in the car. The body is very straight with minimal dings. The
car
as is will have to be towed, but i would consider putting the car
back
together with a new flex plate for a reasonable sum. Its way too nice
to be a parts car, the leather isnt too bad inside although the dash
has some cracks like most 405's ive seen. It has the 14" alloys and i
have 2 of the original covers! I am the 2nd owner of the car. The ac
will work, but i have had a problem getting the evap. core to seal
with
the out side lines. The car runs very strong, i just dont have time
to
mess with it any more. Id rather drive my STX and put money in to it
than my 405. Im asking 600$ firm due to the amount of new and good
parts in this car but im willing to come down for the right person.
The
engine and tranny (was replaced by peugeot at around 30K) are very
