Hey group-
Have a couple more questions about my 1980 505 SD (XD2) motor. 1st,
what the heck is the "idiot light" on the instrument
panel that looks like a halfway open choke? My guess is it's some kind
of EGR warning light, but what has to happen
for it to come on?
Second, I think the car is idling a bit fast, but I'm not sure how to
set it. I know how to set the idle stop, I just
don't know how the heck you figure out how fast it's running, and what
the proper idle speed is. Will it hurt anything
if I just turn it down really really low to try and save some fuel at
stoplights?
