Robert,
Will the plug fit the two prongs you do have and
provide
the proper voltage and ground to make the headlights
work? If so, you could plug it in and not worry about
the extra connection. If not,you could make little
jumper wires as you can buy those bigger spade crimp
on connectors at parts stores. Haven't done that in
years, but they used to be listed as Volkswagen
headlamp connectors.
