Sounds like they did not use new head bolts. They tend to stretch and should not be re-used.
If it were me, I would have them re-do the head job and use new bolts.

I drove from Toronto ON to Saskatoon Sask, which is about 3000k, give

Onjust dying to disgrace itself.......
2 days ago, the day I planned to leave, I noticed coolant all over the
battery, and the rad was half empty. I filled the rad, fired her up.
Much to my dismay, exaust gas is coming out of the rad, and coolant
mist is coming out the tail pipe. I assume either the head gasket is
busted, or the head is cracked like an egg. The head was off the car 3
years ago to replace the valve seals, at which time they noticed
cracks in the head, between the valves, which was fixed(apparently
not).
It's weird, because the car had no cooling issues or coolant loss
before the head came off.
Now the car runs, but not well. In the opinion of the group, can I
drive this car if I keep filling the water? I'm assuming I can't do
more much more damage as long as I don't over heat it. My goal is to
get it to Winnipeg, 8 hrs away. (haha)
As well, I remember there being a 505 guy in Saskatoon. Anyone have
his number?
