I imagine that if you get many responses to this that they will cover
all the options (I am sure that Mike T. will tell you not to waste
your money :) )
If it was my car I would certainly not think twice if the money was
available and I was going to keep the car. If I was buying a car, I
would prefer to see the damage and the original paint than to wonder
what was hiding under a fresh paint job - that is just me though. I
know that many people are dazzled by shiny paint and would prefer to
buy as such.
