TTY bolts don't have the plastic range for high cylinder pressures. TTY
bolts have their place and are a good solution for uniform clamping force
for stock engines. But, they are not designed to take 18+ psi.

You were the one who originally surmised a bad "guess" at thread pitch. As
you see, not all studs are the same.
But hey, if you've got a problem with me and my advice, ignore it. Just
give John your sage advice on fixing his blown HG. I did and you obviously
feel compelled to argue with me.
