Over the 10 years I have owned my 405 I have spent many hours and £'s trying to stop the coolant loss on my system.
OnNew radiator, hoses, rad cap, thermostat housing etc...
Back in February I had a bad leak on my water pump and eventually gave in and had a new timing belt and water pump fitted.
Not a drop lost since. Although prior to this there had been no sign of a leak from the pump and had been considering a fauly head or gasket as the problem.
Information may be of use to others.
