There was an article from NZ about the 406 TD, the ad that claimed 1500 KM per fill
some guy called their bluff
so they filled a TD and went for a spin, no freways, just country and towns
after 1710 KM it went dry....that is 1065 mi!
When gas and diesel gets to $5 US per mini gallon. next year, hopefully the new Peugeot diesels will be here soon after

Hi all.. Just been 750 miles in my 405, tried to calculate economy and
have got 43.6 MPG (UK) for first 550 dry fast miles, and 34.6 MPG for
last 200 (a fair bit of air added to three tires, but very wet
conditions for last 125 miles)
Overall 40.8 MPG which I am pleased with, as the car was quite well
loaded, and speeds were between 70 and 90. But is it normal to get
such a drop, in wet weather?
