I can see both sides of this argument.
Being the 89 505t 5sp is so rare makes it rather high demand among us
505 enthusiasts. Being there are so few, anytime you see one, its
looks flat out *amazing* naturally (to me at least), probably because
you'd never see one in real life. Ever since i've been into 505
turbo's, the 89 has been at the top of the list, and 5sp at that. So
naturally, i'd hope that anyone who owned one of these extremely rare
items would TRULY appreciate it for its rarity, and dope styling.
If i saw one on monster garage that they wanted to transform to a
fishing boat i would most likely weap.
BUT, personal preference has to come into play. If the dude wants a
hot yellow car with dubs running 16psi boost on a stock fuel system
that's his choice. He has every right to *do* whatever he wants to it.
I applaud him on that, he really does have a picture in his head of
what he wants the thing to look like, and he's making that happen.
The rarity does bring up a point though, which i've been wondering
about. The number i've heard is 14 (89 505 turbo 5sp's) imported into
north america. I'm starting to doubt that figure though. There is a
guy on the sunset coachmen website which has 2, there's the yellow one
in canada, there's another youngish lad on the list who has one,
?frank? Cerrone from cerrone's in Redwood city CA has one, and now
Randy is talking about seeing a few.

Has anyone here officially verified the number from Peugeot?
