I think you can only have it one way or the other.
If you support one's right to individuality and
modification, then how can you say that some are not
good-didn't you say it's a matter of taste? Taste is
taste, and it's the individual's taste; so how can
you say you believe in their right to it, but only if
it fits your taste.
