OnI know its been answered but I didn't print it out so here goes...
The very annoying creak at the drivers side door latch on the '86
505 is getting to me. I do alot of city driving, and have taken to
driving with the door ajar to stop the creak (which is NOT
completely consistent believe it or not) What is the fix?
one other pressing question...do sunroofs leak into rear seats
*only* when left partially open? (and the windscreen blocks direct
rain in). I found some very old water in my rear seat and am trying
to diagnose. If never use the sunroof in the rain or leave partially
open in the rain (per above) will I have prevented the problem of
blocked drains etc..?
Tires- I put on a set of H rated Kumho Solus (the newest and best
version in class). 45$ plus 9 ea. for shipping
Quiet as heck, nice supple soak-it-up ride, but only nominal
improvement in responsiveness and cornering! compared to *old* S and
T rateds that were mixed on there!! Wow. No stiffness in sidewalls
and sort of sloggy. Maybe it is in the '86 STI suspension (??)
Im bummed-out as they used to say. I long for my Michelins..which
for some bizarre reason are lowly rated by users on
Tirerack.com....go figure. Twice the price of Kumhos however...
Thanks in advance
