I had almost the same car and sold it a month ago. I had constant
problems with the autochoke not disconnecting, but its wasmostly
because the autochoke sensor/motor is the highest part of the cooling system
andif you have a leak, an air bubble forms and you get always on
choke.
Besides that, I used the Haynes info to set it up and it always worked
perfectly as far as starting the car cold went....
