[Peugeot-L] 84 505 Ate/Teves cylinder question

From: kenneth parker <elkeni_at_mac.com>
Date: 08/28/05

While refitting the front brake caliper cylinder to the caliper slide (84 505 STI sedan) I found the cylinder not that easy to fit onto the slide. I had to use a vise to seat it. Should this cylinder slide freely for proper braking or is it designed to stay in place once assembled?
Thanks,
Ken, moderately paranoid in Richmond, CA
