Well, it looks like the head gasket blew at cyl # 3. The piston and
head in #3 are sparkling clean, dead give away. On closer inspection,
the gasket is broken between the cyl and the water jacket. I'm still
going to bring the head to an engine rebuilder to pressure test it, it
case there is a small crack under where the rupture is in the gasket.
In the head itself, I noticed some mild pitting on some of the cams.
In worse news, in cyl #2, there is some scoring, starting at the top of
the lip, going down about 2 inches. Should I polish these out?
They're not majour; should I be concerned? The motor has 150k miles on
it, and didn't use any oil.
I look forward to your insights!
