[Peugeot-L] Re: 84 505 Ate/Teves cylinder question

My question had to do with the cut out on the rim of the piston (where the piston butts up against the rear of the pad). I don't know for sure where to position the piston and would love an explanation as to why the cut-out is there in the first place. Thanks,
