Harry,

        The fronts are totally different than the rears and the cut-out that I am referring to is on the actual lip of the piston that touches the pad. The recessed part of the piston lip is supposed to set a certain way that has to do with pad contact. There is no ratcheting mechanism in the fronts. The piston retracts easily. It just needs to be rotated a certain way and I am not sure what that way is. Thanks,
