[Peugeot-L] weight of 405td engine and trans

Hey hi
I am considering doing the same thing for an Isuzu 2.8l td from England. The guy said the same thing, around $300. to the port at Long Beach Calif. extra to the interior. I am a bit concerned with buying something like this from so far away in case something goes wrong. The plus is, these European engines are better that what we can find in the US. I'm switching all my gassers to diesel, either swaps of engine or entire vehicle. I can't partake in the importing of oil any longer. Diesels run on just about anything. I know because my 1981 505s TD has proven it. I mean what a concept: Make our own fuel. Its Win Win.
Please do let us know how it works out.
