Hey group,
My 1980 505 SD's gear selector rattles annoyingly at 60mph in 4th
gear. The linkage is all good, I think it's probably just a worn fork
or gear. The transmission still shifts smooth and works fine though. I
use Valvoline 80w-90 gear oil in it, and was wondering what kind of
oil it's supposed to have, or what kind of oil I could use to make it
go away. It's really annoying. Thanks!
