I was contemplating the 405S seat belt conversion
and determined that it was impossible without cutting into the B post at
the rocker panels and welding in pieces from a non auto seat belt B post
I even have a couple B posts complete with a bit of roof at the top end
and a bit of rocker panel at the bottom.
The rocker panels have stiffners down the middle and the seatbelt is
welded to them.
So I have 2 used B posts in excellent condition including my best wishes
$100 plus shipping

Subject: [Peugeot-L] 405S Interior Questions
All,
I wonder if I couldn't pick your collective brains on two interior
issues in my 1990 405S Wagon.
- Sagging headliner (ugh). It's not sagging all that badly, but it
is annoying. Any one out there have an easy(ish) fix?
- Automatic seat belts to standard seat belt retro fit. I'd dearly
love to get rid of my automatic seat belts. Both motors are barely
working and, even if they were working, are highly annoying. Has
anybody done this? Does the frame have the mounting points for the
standard seat belt? Does anybody have the various bits and pieces I'd
need (my interior trim color is grey)?
Thanks,
Justin
