Hi,A method for removing bird droppings with minimal paint damage is
to soak a towel in water and drape it over the spot.Take it off
periodically and wipe away whatever has softened.Repeat as neccesary.
Easier than soaking the whole car.WD-40 will soften up tar and sap but
then you will need to wash and rewax that area.If you can get the car
thoroughly clean and apply two or three coats of most any car wax it
will make it easier to remove stains and droppings in the future.
Have Fun,Daryl
