clean bird droppings, pine resin, bugs, etc. as soon as they land on

paint. Many friends have the same problems with post-1995 Peugeots.

no problems with the paint on my old 405 after 10 years so is this now
normal with modern 307's/peugeots?

My wife has a 1999 206 LXi and can can not say we have experienced any problems with the paint being marked by insects or alike. Certain trees are best to avoid as the sap they drop damages paint other than that no problems in UK from our small Pug.
