they do end up in the US, it would not be before 2010. For those that
haven't been following this, this Peugeot/Citroen SUV will be based on
the new (series 2) Mitsubishi Outlander. This will be shown at the 2005
Francfort auto show, next week (the mitsubishi, not the peugeot). The
Peugeot version is a Macpherson / De Dion / Watt suspension, loads of
Alu for components and with the HDI (2L and 2.2L) engines. This is a
4x4. No word on fuel comsumption but it cant be that great, can it (30
mpg is barely acceptable nowadays)? Supposedly it will be available in
late 2006 as a 2007 model. Peugeot expect to sell 30,000 in 07.
Where are they going to sell 30,000 of these with gas prices as they are
worldwide, and not selling a single one in North America?
