According to a geologist at Princeton, OPEC oilfields have reached their peak and now are at the tipping point for decline. He argues that this, coupled with (a) increasing demand for oil from India and China, and (b) the paucity of new oil discoveries, means that the end of cheap oil is over. If we think oil is expensive now, wait a few years. He argues that during the next five or six years, oil will reach $200 a barrel.
