[Peugeot-L] What temp is the cool 505 N9TE thermostat?

Hi,

My 505 Turbo S temperature currently runs at or just above the second white line from the bottom on the gauge, occasionally going to about 1/3 between the second white line and the third white line when idling in traffic.
Dave Towle suggested I get the cooler thermostat to reduce the temperature and help preserve my recently welded and repaired head. What is the temp of this thermostat? I see that Western Hemispheres carries an 83c thermostat, which doesn't seem all that cool. Is there a cooler one, and where can I find it?
