Hi wise people
I severely overheated my XD2S engine last year and
have had the engine rebuilt. However, I am having
ongoing concerns about fuel economy. It has been
suggested to me that maybe, during the overheating,
the injector nozzles became warped. Can anyone confirm
this as a likely event?
If those nozzles have been warped, therefore not
allowing a proper fuel spray, how do I identify the
injectors to obtain the correct nozzles? Is
replacement of the injector nozzles a DIY job, or
better left to the experts?
Thanks, as always, for your helpful and knowledgeable
advice.
Cheers,
Andrew
