Hello to all, new member here and in desparate need of help with my
1984 505 sti XN6 w/116K miles. Car started running bad about a month
ago, car will start normally and idle smooth for about 5 seconds and
then start to run rough and shut down. Will start everytime and idle
smooth for 5 seconds and shut down, but always does the same thing, I
can however keep it running by continually pressing the gas pedal,
but
still will run rough and sometimes shut down. I thought maybe a tune
up
was needed, replaced wires, cap and rotor button and plugs but still
same problem. Also replaced fuel pump, fuel fliter,cleaned throttle
boby and components attached. Checked all vacum lines for leaks. My
mechacical knowlwdge of peugeots and its componants is limited. Have
owned the car for 6 years and never had a problem with it. PLEASE
HELP!!!!!
