You could try to disconnect the throttle microswitch, but a faulty
switch will sound like a 'rev limiter' at around 1500rpm and wont let
the engine rev any higher.
if you do want to try it, the microswitch is a small white plastic
rectangular switch on the gold throttle plate on the side of the
throttle body. 2 black wires from it to a brown plug (which is where
you want to disconnect it).
If you do disconnect the overboost switch (2 wire sensor on the
throttle elbow just before the throttle body) be *SURE* to insulate
the wires as Joe said. I've seen multiple harnesses fry because of not
doing this! :)
