[Peugeot-L] CB, WB, SW or other antenna?

Anybody using a CB in their 505 (wagon?)? How about improving WB, AM or SW reception? How about receiving longwaves from inside your 505? Etc. etc.

I'm interested in hearing about any mobile station (receiving or sending). I'm mostly interesting in VLF, but I hear that CB antennas do make acceptable units for that and longwaves.

Basically, at these frequencies, you get a lot of noise from the power grid, so I'd like to drive out there, away from power lines and just put a ground spike (or not, how about those fiberglass antennas that dont require a ground, like for boats or those that use the vehicule as ground the 505 should have plenty of metal to act as a ground you would think) and be listening/recording.

Ciao,
Francois Dion
