Yes, there is a real, and I hate to use the term, asshole among us. This
person advertised merchandise here. I paid for it, and when it wasn't that which
he had described, I told him I was returning the goods. He wrote back, saying
he wouldn't give me a full refund, because I had "wasted his time."
To wit:
I paid this person top dollar for what he said were fog lamps in excellent
condition for the late model 505's with front air dams. He sent me some Bosch
lights with a couple of surrounds from the air dam. Both of the surrounds
were cracked, as well as one of the lamps, because the only way to make them fit
was to force them in. The wires on both lamps had been cut and re-soldered.
I have never seen or heard of anything other than SEIM on the cars.
Regardless, since I was dissatisfied, he should have given me a full refund.
Many of you have done business or otherwise conducted transactions with me.
I do not believe I have ever dealt with anyone on this list in any way other
than in good faith. I do not like to use names, but this pompous arse had the
audacity to say I wasted his time and then to send me back a check for
seventy, when I had sent him one hundred.
He is still saying he has things for sale, and, believe me, if you deal with
him, you are doing so at your own risk and peril.
I have sent his check back to him. He obviously needs the money far more
than I, as well as a lesson in how to conduct business with people who are here
to help each other. He is a classless individual who is a disgrace to this
group.
