Occasionally I cannot select a gear on my 1998 1.5
Diesel 106. If I manage to get it into gear (usually
fifth) the car creeps forward even with the clutch
fully depressed as if I am slightly releasing the
clutch. If I release the clutch completely the car
moves off as normal as you would expect pulling away
in fifth. Sometimes once the car is moving it goes
into gear, sometimes not. There does not seem to be
any pattern. If the car is left. It returns to normal
and the problem may not come back for another week.
Has anybody got any ideas?
The car has done about 105K miles
Thanks Mark
