Re: [Peugeot-L] BA10/4 gearbox identification?

I'd highly recommend using the BA10/5 instead of the 4. They're the same length, and it should be a drop in replacement. He will also need to use the 604 offset brake booster since the original 504 one will interfere with the head. I never touched the torque tube and shaft - they bolted right up with the correct length and everything.

When I did mine, I just dropped the unit in and bolted it up. The PRV V6 is a very light engine and there was no need to do any mods to the front suspension, or to the gearing. The car was an absolute blast!

I can still try to help out with numbers and stuff, I'll be cleaning out my garage this weekend, and moving stuff into my new shed, so I can check it out then.

BTW - I have a low mileage 88 PRV V6, a 5-sp, and a supercharger from a Nissan 3.3L V6... I currently have a 504 wagon, and a 504 sedan. If I don't 4x4 the wagon, then I'm thinking supercharged V6 5-sp, with IRS from the sedan. (Projects after the 505 Turbo)

Later...

Rabin
