hi
Thanks all for confirming that everything is normal temperature wise.
The car has done 48,000 miles (1992 model).
It has service history up to 24,000 and no record of whether or not the
cam belt has been changed (its the 1.6 carb).
I intend to change the cam belt soon as I am in the dark regarding its
servicing.
Do people usually as a matter of course change the water pump at the
same time? Does it have tensioners with bearings that need changing?
I don't have a workshop manual and I've never worked on many Peugeot's.
Cheers
