A friend of mine who is into performance modifications showed me an
article in "Grassroots Motorsports" about some people who modified a
1969 Volvo 142S, B20 engine with the MegaSquirt system. following the
installation the car went from its initial 93hp to, I think, 147hp.
Depending on one's do-it-yourselfedness, the modification costs around
$300. Is such an installation insanity or does it make sense. The
article is in the October 2005 issue of the magazine and it seems to be
not that difficult to install.
