Go to www.msefi.com <http://www.msefi.com/> and read about the system in detail. Be
prepared to spend some time getting to know it. Building the brains of the ECU is not
difficult at all (took me about 6 hours). And if your car already has a factory EFI,
then you've got it made. I'm doing a CIS-EFI conversion on a Mercedes M110 engine the
will be supercharged, so I'm dealing with a number of factors simultaneously. Though I
haven't got my setup running yet, I'm encouraged by the numerous success stories that have
been posted. As a pleasant surprise, my local performance shop has a guy running MS on
this hopped up RX7, so I can visit and chat with him anytime. It's a big community with
lots of support.
I know there are a number of Peugeot guys running their 505's with MS. Check the archives
as it's been mentioned here before. One guy even put an MS inside the original ECU box in
order to use the existing wiring harness.
It's not insanity - it's just a good option at a relatively low cost.

Subject: [Peugeot-L] MegaSquirt f.i. modification query
A friend of mine who is into performance modifications showed me an
article in "Grassroots Motorsports" about some people who modified a
1969 Volvo 142S, B20 engine with the MegaSquirt system. following the
installation the car went from its initial 93hp to, I think, 147hp.
Depending on one's do-it-yourselfedness, the modification costs around
$300. Is such an installation insanity or does it make sense. The
article is in the October 2005 issue of the magazine and it seems to be
not that difficult to install.
