[Peugeot-L] Do I like driving?

Hey!
Not to change the subject abruptly, but, assuming the premise that American cars are made for people who do not like to or know how to drive (toss in most of the mini-Monte Carlo Jap cars, too), simply because I choose to drive a Peugeot means I like to drive. Post hoc ergo propter hoc?
My favorite drive of the summer so far was from my home in southern NH to the Drive She Said Citroën gathering in Saratoga Springs, NY, over and through the mountains of southern Vermont on Rte 9, so clean you'll not see even a gum wrapper, at six AM, naturally following all of the speed laws, the ride was perfect for the Mi16 in third gear most of the way. The State of Vermont has sagaciously supplied many "truck lanes" where it is easy to overtake trucks and low-performance drivers in American or other cars. Yes, I like to drive, and I did not need to drive over 100 mph to experience the joy on that day. Yes, thank you, the Mi16 performed flawlessly, and there were times when I felt it was worth $15,000 on eBay. Bill

Mr. Bruce and all who live in our much beloved neighbor and magnificent   country of Canada:
I apologize for any misunderstanding on my part- Laurentian is a much   more graceful name. I have many fond childhood memories of trips to   upstate New York, across the St Laurence river and on to Montreal and   will now readily confess my geographic ignorance of the Laurentian   mountain range.

Thus another urban legend is retired (although a 1970's Pontiac badged   Leviathan isn't a bad name for a 6 meter long land yacht!)..

  Regards,
