Hello,
I could not get the web site 504.org to load up today. It says No web site is configured at
this address. They used to have repair manual for 504s. Does anyone have a spare repair
manual for 504, specifically the XM-7 motor? My 68 404 break has a transplant XM-7 and I
need some timing info that used to be available on www.504.org. The timing chain started
to rattle quite loudly today. I have a new chain and tensioner, but I need some instruction. I
just had a new exhaust put on and I was supposed to drive to the coast today, but I decided
against it after hearing the chain rattle. Also my diesel is not quite ready, so now I have to
trust my girlfriend's 62 Ford Falcon to get us there (YIKES!) I kind of wanted to show my Pug
off on the 101, but now I have to settle for a Ford. So any help in finding the repair info for
Monday would be much appreciated. I don't want to be seen in a Ford anymore than I have
to.
Thanx
marK
