Hi all,
I've just joined the list after buying a scruffy but sound 1969 Peugeot
404 wagon last weekend. I live in the Santa Cruz, California area. I
have a lot of old British and European cars but this is my first Peugeot
since high school, when I drove a 204 sedan. Yes, a 204, bought from a
family friend who was a mechanic and Peugeot nut. A customer of his had
privately imported it from France, and he eventually bought it and used it
as his own tranportation until selling it to me.
Back to the present - my new wagon needs a variety of things, but most
pressing is a new windshield. Can anyone out there steer me in the
direction of a good used one? I did get a quote of $500 plus installation
for a new one but I hope not to have to spend that kind of money.
