Hi Group,
I would like a recommendation for alternative seats for an '83 505
gas. Neither the original nor an earlier style offer adequate lumbar
support. I haven't found any aftermarket cushion or device to serve.
My choice is to find a wrecked car of any make and switch out seats. I
don't want to have to do much engineering to get them in place. Does
anyone have any experience with this issue?
I am using the car daily to deliver pizza. It is a great ride and easy
on the body in most ways but the seats issue. A local mechanic who
worked at the former dealership provides the maintenance and
occasional recycled parts. It has been very economical due to this
arrangement and a very nice ride as well. The gas prices is the big
issue as I get only 17 mpg or so.
Thanks,
John
